Working within education can benefit both pupil and teacher. The flair and enthusiasm radiated by youngsters interacting with the expertise and control proffered by the craftsman can produce astounding results for both parties.

Paul Gooderham has worked in many forms of education over the past 35yrs. In universities and art establishments around the country including Wolverhampton, Bournville, Carmarthen and Hereford, he has fulfilled the role as visiting lecturer and assessor, whilst in secondary and primary education his artist led residencies have produced amazing results. He returns time and again to many of these establishments to develop and foster further links between children and the crafts, an area that is being so sadly eroded as academic qualifications continue to take the high ground.

Prices, times and subject matter are important and need to be discussed and dovetailed into any respective timetable and budget of all prospective placements. It is therefore preferable for any interested party to contact Paul either by email or telephone at his studio to discuss details further or to arrange a meeting before proceeding to the next stage.
